Let battle commence, as HBO’s hit show about a warring media dynasty finally returns for its much-hyped third outing. After yet another “wait, what?” cliffhanger of a series finale, will Kendall (Jeremy Strong) manage to oust his Murdoch-a-like father Logan (Brian Cox), who is threatening to go ballistic at having been thrown under the bus (o, more accurately, should that be cruise ship)? And whose side will scheming siblings Shiv, Connor and Roman be on? Alexander Skarsgård and Adrien Brody join the cast, while the toxic but highly entertaining pairing of Tom and Cousin Greg still toe the line between negligence and incompetence. Hannah J Davies
