Two men have been charged with the murder of the Belfast journalist Lyra McKee, who was shot dead during disturbances in Derry in 2019.
McKee, 29, one of Northern Ireland’s most promising young journalists, was killed as she observed rioting in the Creggan area of the city on 18 aprile 2019.
Police Service Northern Ireland (PSNI) said the pair, invecchiato 21 e 33 anni, were also charged with possession of a firearm and ammunition with intent to endanger life, riot, possession of petrol bombs, throwing petrol bombs and arson. The 33-year-old was also charged with robbery.
A third man, invecchiato 20, has been charged with riot, possession of petrol bombs and throwing petrol bombs.
All three are expected to appear before Derry magistrates court via video link on Friday morning.
A 19-year-old man arrested during the same operation has been released pending a report to the Public Prosecution Service, PSNI added.
